Description

The Public Education & Information Internship at the Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) is a 24-month program focused on promoting gender equality through public education and community engagement. Interns will create and deliver educational content, conduct workshops, and support campaigns. Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills are essential for driving social impact and fostering community awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Assist in managing and tracking expenses and revenue
  • Maintain financial records and ensure their accuracy
  • Help process invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Assist in monitoring financial transactions to ensure compliance with regulations

Qualifications

  • A Master of Arts (MA) Degree qualification in the Social Sciences or any other behavioral sciences
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license is essential
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team is crucial, including readiness to travel extensively throughout the country to conduct research work
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
